Overview
The Muskegon River Watershed Assembly was formed in 1998 to address the needs of the river and to assure that future generations are able to enjoy the river. The MRWA has a history of improving the river through habitat restoration, watershed education, and recycling. Habitat restoration projects have included dam removal, improving road stream crossings and eroding banks, and working with riparian landowners on natural shorelines. As MRWA heads into its 20th year of service there is renewed focus on engaging the public in protecting their watershed and improving the quality of life for all watershed residents. |
